Where to place your feet during your yoga practice
Today we’re taking a look at foot placement during yoga, specifically during standing yoga poses. I’ll discuss the common cue from a yoga teacher to “Line up the outer edges of the feet with the outer edges of the mat” and introduce another way to look at the placement of the feet.

(I want to acknowledge here that some of you have probably heard that exact cue from me about your foot placement during yoga practices. As I’ve learned more from smart people like Jules Mitchell Yoga, I’ve changed the way I talk about the feet in standing.)
