How to overcome challenges in meditation to grow your mindfulness practice
If you’ve ever found it hard to meditate in Savasana (Corpse Pose) or during any relaxation or meditation practice, you’re not alone. Many people struggle with obstacles like pain, restlessness, racing thoughts, difficulty with the breath, or distractions in their environment. Itโs easy to feel like, “I just can’t do Savasana,” but in reality, working with these challenges is at the heart of the practice.

You are not bad at meditation if you find it hard to meditate
Meditation isnโt about achieving a perfectly still mindโitโs about noticing what arises and learning to navigate it with patience and awareness. If Savasana feels particularly difficult, it doesnโt mean youโre bad at meditation. It simply means youโre encountering the natural resistance that comes with slowing down.

If you find it hard to meditate in stillness, you might benefit from a different approach. A walking meditation or a movement-based postural yoga practice can offer an easier way to cultivate mindfulness while working with your bodyโs natural tendencies.
