I have often bemoaned the fact that we STILL don’t have a machine that can scan you and tell you what’s “wrong.” Yoga therapy with Rachel is as close as I’ve gotten to that sci-fi scanning machine I imagine. It’s not instant results, but I did start to see changes, feel more at ease, and develop strategies within a few weeks. AND it’s also been just as holistic as that future machine I envision. Rachel really looks at the whole person as a whole being, not just a body moving through space. She is considerate, patient, thoughtful, and willing to explore ideas about what/why/how/where etc. I’ve always loved Rachel’s yoga classes, but this is another level of care and attention that you don’t get in a group yoga class. It’s been incredibly valuable for me.
