The Power of Support Program

Coaching & Accountability to Support Your Yoga Practice

Have you experienced the power of support?

You want to create the habit of regular yoga practice, but you don’t know where to start. Or maybe you do it for a while and then fall off the wagon.

It’s not because you aren’t trying hard enough.

It’s not because you lack the willpower.

It’s not because you’re lazy.

It’s because you need more support.

You’re finding it hard because it is hard to change our habits. Life is a lot sometimes, and it can feel like there isn’t room for one more thing.

Sometimes it helps to have another set of eyes, someone to ask the right questions and help you see clearly what needs to be done in order to be successful.

Other times, all you need is a little accountability. Someone who’s there to check in and see how you’re doing. Someone to cheer your successes and help you navigate the obstacles when they arise.

You’re doing great. And with the Power of Support, you can create a sustainable practice habit that will support your wellbeing for as long as you need it to.

Introducing a yoga therapy perspective on lifestyle change

I regularly hear clients talk about how difficult it can be to create habits that support their health and wellbeing.

And I get it. I’ve struggled with this myself, all my life, and especially since becoming a mother. Even though I’ve been a yoga teacher for over a decade, sometimes I find it challenging to maintain a regular practice. Because as a mom, a business owner, a wife, a friend, and a human striving for a happy and meaningful life, there are always other things that need to be done.

Often these topics bring up feelings of shame and inadequacy.

As a yoga therapist, I see it differently.

I know that you can’t make changes unless you have both the support and the resources to fuel the change to happen.

I know that you can’t sustain changes without both a structure that works and the ability to adapt to the inevitable surprises that life throws your way.

I know that understanding your personal tendencies, seeing your successes and obstacles clearly, and listening to the messages from your body are key skills in creating changes that work for you over the long term.

Because I know that lifestyle change is not one-size-fits-all.

Your yoga practice will be unique to you. Your process of developing and sustaining it will also be unique to you. And it’s these key skills and concepts that will allow you to be successful and to continue to be successful over time.

The challenge of time…

One of the biggest obstacles that can come up when trying to form a new habit is time. The demands of modern life pull you in so many different directions, it can feel impossible to add even one small thing. And because your beliefs and attitudes about time are so ingrained, it can feel like you’re hopelessly stuck.

In other words, because of so much of your relationship with time is below your level of awareness, it can be hard to see where your power actually lies.

What if I told you that you have all the time you need for your yoga practice?

There’s only so much time, after all. More hours in your day is something I definitely can’t give you.

And yet… What if you didn’t need more time after all?

What if the right support, better awareness, and a clear process for adapting to life’s demands could help you use your time more effectively, in service of your goals?

What would you do then?

Let me support you.

If all this resonates and you’re ready to make a change, I would love to be part of your journey to discover your personal yoga practice, or develop another healthy habit.
